Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), one of the region’s leading fashion development platforms, (Instagram) has announced that the 6th Edition of the FTA Prize is now open for applications.
If you’re a designer from the MENA region, and you’re interested in giving your brand a boost through financial support and industry mentorships with some of the biggest names in fashion, submit your application today.
FTA is a non-profit organization that provides financial support, guidance and mentorships to emerging designers from across the MENA, while also functioning as a platform of opportunity through which talented Arab designers can grow and receive international recognition.
The FTA Prize is the first of its kind initiative in the Arab world. The first edition was launched in 2018, under the patronage of FTA’s Honorary Chair HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Co-chairs HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani and Tania Fares in Doha. Each year, six winning designers are selected across six different design categories. A new, seventh category launched this year – The Fashion Tech Award 2024.
The Fashion Tech award calls for designers and brands that “actively implement advanced technological techniques in your production process and garment creation”.
Applications are open for the following categories – Evening Wear, Ready-to-Wear, Accessories, Jewelry (Fine/Fashion), Debut Talent (2022,2023, 2024 graduate), and the inaugural Fashion Tech Award.
