Those who own Bottega Veneta Bags can now send these accessories back to the brand for a complimentary refresh and repair to ensure the longevity of the item. “Bottega Veneta is an extraordinary craft with exquisite design and creativity. The Certificate of Craft is born out of a desire to offer our clients a superior service of long-term preservation of their products,” Leo Rongone, CEO of Bottega Venetta said. “Our vision remains consistent with one of our founders. They wanted to make Bottega Veneta to represent the most elevated and redefined form of luxury. We count days, not hours, to make our products. They are designed to last forever.” Through the Certificate of Craft, Bottega Veneta is encouraging its consumers to pass the bag down from one generation to the next, while providing a service to update and repair the accessory as the years roll on. The programme begins this month, where each new bag purchase from Bottega Veneta will include a physical and digital card that is marked with a unique number that ties back to the brand’s Certificate of Craft. The serial number will be used by the brand at any point in the future, no matter how many years have gone by, to update and refresh the t=accessory.
